Every port needs a screenshot.{jpg,png} that is exactly 640x480, and submissions are checked for it. Drop an image in below, pick how it should fill the frame, and download the result. See the packaging documentation for where to place the file.

Scaling uses a Lanczos filter in linear light rather than the browser's own, so fine detail and dithered patterns survive the reduction instead of shimmering. Exact 2x, 3x and 4x enlargements are done with nearest neighbour instead, which keeps pixel art crisp.

The PNG this writes is a full 32 bit one. Run it through the PNG Compressor afterwards to get the file size down.

How should it fill 640x480?

Keep aspect: fit the whole image in and pad the gaps with black bars Stretch: fill the frame exactly, distorting the image if the shape doesn't match Crop: scale up to fill the frame and trim the overflow off the edges

Cropping is centred, so it trims evenly from both sides (or top and bottom).
